Review of Economic Studies Tour 2026
The Department of Economics had the pleasure of hosting the Review of Economic Studies Tour 2026 here in Zurich.
The REStud Tour brings together some of the most promising young economists from top institutions around the world, presenting their job market papers to the academic community. This year, Sydney Costantini (UC Berkeley), Paula Donaldson (UC San Diego), Vincent Rollet (MIT), Zane Kashner (Stanford GSB), Andrew Koh (MIT), David Ritzwoller (Stanford GSB), and Nick Wu (Yale) shared work spanning urban economics, technology regulation, causal inference, climate policy, and housing.
We made the most of what Zurich has to offer. Day one took us out of the lecture hall entirely: a morning hike from Felsenegg to Uetliberg, followed by lunch and the afternoon sessions at Uto Kulm with a view over the city. Day two was hosted at the University of Zurich, with a closing apéro on a boat on Lake Zurich and dinner at the Frauenbadi on the Limmat.
Our sincere thanks to the presenters for the quality of their work and the richness of the discussions, to the Review of Economic Studies for the continued collaboration, and to everyone who joined us for making this edition so memorable.
We were delighted to host the REStud Tour in Zurich this year and to welcome such a remarkable group of emerging economists alongside our faculty and students.
