New SNSF Grants
Researchers from our department were recently awarded research funding from the National Science Foundation (SNSF). Congratulations, to them!
Maya Eden, Professor of Economics and Affiliated Professor at the UBS Center for Economics in Society, has been awarded a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation. Her project, “Non-Consequentialist Approaches to Normative Economics,” will begin in 2026 and run for four years, with an approved budget of CHF 782,282.
Andreas I. Mueller, Professor of Macroeconomics and Labor Markets and Affiliated Professor at the UBS Center for Economics in Society, has been awarded a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation for his project “The Persistence of Gender Gaps in Pay and Participation: A Macroeconomic Analysis.” The project will begin in 2026 and run for four years, with an approved budget of CHF 471,422.

Ronak Jain, Assistant Professor of Development Economics and Child Welfare, supported by UNICEF Switzerland, has been awarded a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation for her project “Social Norms and The Economic Burden on The Poor.” The project will begin in 2026 and run for four years, with an approved budget of CHF 955,559.
