Tilburg Ranking

As we set ourselves challenging standards, we only include top publications in our own evaluation of the Tilburg Ranking: American Economic Review, Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Review of Economic Studies.

Over the last 20 years the Department of Economics has increased its score by fourfold and is has become of the leading economics departments in Europe. In global comparison, the Department ranks at number 20.

This is shown by an academic ranking compiled for the German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche by the Swiss Economic Institute KOF at ETH Zurich.
