Bachelor Theses
Theses can either be written in English or German unless stated otherwise.
In order to apply for a thesis, please send the following documents and information to armin.schmutzler@econ.uzh.ch:
- Academic Record
- Letter of Motivation
- CV
Also include the date you wish to start with your thesis somewhere in your application.
List of topics:
The topics for the spring semester 2026 will be available by November 30, 2025. The decisions will be made by December 15.
Master Theses
If you are interested in writing a master thesis at our chair, please contact Prof. Armin Schmutzler
(armin.schmutzler@econ.uzh.ch). Your message should at least provide information about the fields you are interested and a copy of your up-to-date academic record. If you have more concrete ideas for a thesis, please spell them out. Otherwise, we will discuss possible topics in a meeting.
