Economic History studies real economic phenomena of the past and analyzes them within the context of the prevailing social, political and cultural characteristics. It combines historical, sociological and statistical methods.

• What were the causes and consequences of the Nazi Party’s rise to power, and what was the role of social capital?
• What can we learn from the past when it comes to defining strategies and policies for dealing with financial crises?
• How have intergenerational mobility and inequality evolved over time?
