Borrowing and renewals
Borrowing items takes place at the borrowing counter (at no cost) or by post (CHF 12.00 per item).
The lending period is 28 days and is extended automatically twice for another 28 days each if the document is not requested from another party. After this, you can renew the lending period up to three times for 28 days yourself (using the online account, per telephone, or in person in the library), as long as there are no reservations for the book. Items can always be recalled after 28 days if there is a reservation.
Library users are allowed to borrow a maximum of 20 items at one time.
