Microeconomics and Game Theory
At this chair, we study game theory and microeconomics with special emphasis on evolutionary game theory, individual decision making, the role of cultural transmission in preference formation, applied contract theory (law and economics) and issues related both to development economics and to economics of education such as child labour, household labour supply and school choice. We are also interested in network theory and the importance of communication in political outcomes.
On the teaching side we offer courses of microeconomics and game theory as well as a series of students' seminar on game theoretical issues and on culture and economics.
