Disability access

Access to the library with a wheelchair

It is important to us to make the library as easily accessable for disabled users as we can. Unfortunately, access for wheelchairs and other users with limited mobility is only possible at present via the service lift on the southeastern side of the Lichthof (adjacent to the Kanzlei). If you do not have a key (obtainable from the Disability Office), please call us (Tel. 044 634 21 37), and we will send someone to accompany you.

Workspaces for wheelchair users

There is a wide corridor between bookshelves in the reading room that leads to a workspace reserved for wheelchairs (follow floor markings). There is a second reserved workspace in the foyer (group area). 

Computer workstation

Next to the lending desk there are 2 height adjustable computer terminals.
