Extended opening hours

Prepare for your exams in the peace and quiet of the Department of Economics Library reading room: the library is open from Tuesday, 21st May until Thursday 20th June 2013, Monday to Thursday from 8am to 8pm.

INUIT

The two catalogues "Information Network of the University of Zurich" (IDS Zurich University, which contains among others all the holdings of the Department of Economics Library) and "Network of Libraries and Information Centres in Switzerland" (NEBIS) have been merged over the Easter weekend. The new search portal enables access to all the holdings of the largest library network in Switzerland, with approximately 7 million registered titles.

Department of Economics Library

The Department of Economics Library is a departmental library of the University of Zurich attached to the Faculty of Economics, containing about 91'800 items and approximately 150 current journals. The open access collections of textbooks and periodicals cover all aspects of modern economics, with special emphasis on the following subject areas: general microeconomics, macroeconomics, competition policy and theory, industrial organization, innovation, environmental and ecological economics, transport economics and policy, financial economics, monetary economics, statistics and econometrics, health, insurance and energy economics, and theory and policy of external trade.

The collections of the former libraries IEW, STS and WWI are also to be found in the library.
